Water is life

Heart Attack and Water - I never knew all of this ! Interesting.......

Correct time to drink water... Very Important.

Drinking water at a certain time maximizes its effectiveness on the body: 2 glasses of water after waking up - helps activate internal organs
1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion
1 glass of water before taking a bath - helps lower blood pressure
1 glass of water before going to bed - avoids stroke or heart attack

Something else I didn't know ... I asked my Doctor why do people need to urinate so much at night time. Answer from my Cardiac Doctor -
Gravity holds water in the lower part of your body when you are upright (legs swell). When you lie down and the lower body (legs and etc) seeks level with the kidneys, it is then that the kidneys remove the water because it is easier. This then ties in with the last statement!
I knew you need your minimum water to help flush the toxins out of your body, but this was news to me.

I can also add to this... My Physician told me that water at bed time will also help prevent night time leg cramps. Your leg muscles are seeking hydration when they cramp and wake you up with a Charlie Horse.



Using iPhone/Pad in the Dark leads to Blindness and Dry Eyes - MUST READ !!!‏

Those who use their cell phones, iPads in bed, without the room lights on, they will have serious eye problems such as Macular Degeneration which leads to incurable blindness.
 
Beware to watch out for your kids !
 
Recently, there is an increase of age 30-40 years olds coming for eyes problems caused by macular lesions, leading to the rapid deterioration of vision, especially irreversible macular disease.
30% of patients, most are heavy users of smart phones, one of the reason is that the patients are reading mobile during bedtime IN THE DARK, without proper augmentinglight source from the bedroom.  Same applies in the use of iPad.  Staring at the mobile screen  in the dark directly harms the macula of the eye.  It also worsens with those patients suffering from dry eye syndromes.
Some describes Macular Diseases as equivalent to have eye cancer.  The sickness leads to blindness.  Modern medicine still cannot yield full recovery.  Early treatment using laser or injectable steroids into the eyes may deter from deterioration.
Doctors suggest taking more lutein,  But more importantly is to avoid the bad habit of using the phone in complete darkness which causes a lifetime of eye damage.

最近有越來越多3040患者上門求診,因為在就寢關燈後,還使用智能型手穖。手機光直射眼睛30分鐘以上,造成眼睛[黄斑部]病變,導致視力急速惡化,特不可逆的黄斑病。一旦得了黄斑病,就等於眼睛癌症,只有等着失明,因為現代醫學無法治療,更談不上治愈。       
 
關燈後看手機屏幕在黑暗中特明亮,近距離觀看,高能量直射眼睛,直接傷害眼睛的黄斑部。醫師表示,黄斑部病變多半是老年人出現的症状,但最近患者却有年輕化趨勢。其中 30 40 患者增加 3 成,大多都是智能型手機重度使用者 

然而熄燈後,不管是看手機,還是滑平板 iPad,不只黄斑部病變,初期會引發乾眼症,眼珠泛黄,嚴重則讓白内障提早報到,甚至讓視力喪失,變成失明。
 
病變初期,得接受雷射或注射類固醇,才有機會治愈。醫師建議,除了多補充葉黄素,最重要的是戒除使用手機的不良習慣。因為睡前忍不住滑一下,造成的恐怕是一子的傷害。
